The general terms & conditions
1. Dutch law
These terms & conditions are applicable to every legal relationship between Dutch Origin Design and the website user/customer which is related directly or indirectly to the website. These terms & conditions, any legal relationships between Dutch Origin Design and the website user/customer and use of this website shall be goverened by Dutch law. The Dutch court shall have exclusive jurisdiction even if the relations are in whole or in part to be executed abroad, or if the website user resides abroad.
1.1 Applicability
These terms & conditions apply to all visits and use of this website. By accessing and using this website the website user/customer signifies his or her consent to these terms & conditions.
1.3 Revision
Dutch Origin Design reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time. Any of such revision will be binding and effective immediately upon posting of the revised general terms & conditions on the website. The continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised general terms and conditions.
2. Order process
The Dutch Origin Design Collection is displayed in catalog format. When the website user is interested in/or wish to order an item of the collection please contact Fem at e-mail: fem@dutchorigindesign.com. After receiving the order request the customer will receive an email to confirm the details of the order and information regarding the order/payment process. The delivery period commences after receipt of the payment, after which Dutch Origin Design will aim to deliver within 10 working days. In case of a delay of processing the order, which occur beyond Dutch Origin Design’s control, the customer will be informed regarding the status as soon as possible. Dutch Origin Design reserves the right to cancel the order in the event that the ordered item is out of stock or does not satisfy the quality control standards and is withdrawn. When the order is cancelled by Dutch Origin Design, the payment will be transferred back to the customers bankaccount as all products are unique and will not be re-produced.
2.1 Global orders
The webshop has the same catalog format for all countries, but global orders (outside the Netherlands) require specific shippingrates & delivery duration. When the consumer wish to order a product, please contact Fem at e-mail: fem@dutchorigindesign.com and advise which product you like to order and what the destination country would be, the costs and duration will be advised accordingly.
3. Prices & payment
All Prices on the website are listed in euro’s and include value added tax.Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders, in respect of which Dutch Origin Design has already sent the customer order confirmation email. The shippingcosts will be added to the total costs of the invoice. Dutch Origin Design accepts payments with bank transfer. When dutch Origin design has received the payment the order will be processed accordingly.
3.1 Global prices
Please note that if the customer order products from the website for a delivery destination outside the Netherlands,the products may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. The customer will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that Dutch Origin Design has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact local customs office for further information before placing the order. Please also note that the customer must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. Dutch Origin Design will not be liable if the customer break any such laws.
4. Delivery
The delivery period will be given as an estimate and should never be considered as a strict deadline. The delivery period commences after receipt of the payment, after which Dutch Origin Design will aim to deliver within 10 working days. If Dutch Origin Design is not able to comply with the delivery period due to circumstances beyond its’s control, Dutch Origin Design will not be considered in default and is not liable for any damages to the customer. When delay may occur the customer will be informed as soon as possible. Dutch Origin Design will pack the products suitable for shipping but is not responsible for loss or damage of the package during shipment. When the product is delivered by the courier, the product liability is transferred to the customer of the product.
5. Return policy
The return policy of Dutch Origin Design lasts 14 days. Unfortunately no refund can be offered If 14 days are exceeded since the purchase has been delivered. When the customer wish to return the product within the 14 days please contact Fem per e-mail: fem@dutchorigindesign.com. Please follow all further conditions and instructions stipulated in the email send by Dutch Origin Design to be applicable to return and receive a refund for a product. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, undamaged and in the same condition that the consumer received it. The product must also be in the original packaging and the labels must be still attached to the purchased product. The customer will be responsible for paying for the full shipping costs for returning the item and should use a trackable shipping service. Once the returned item is received and inspected an email will be send to notify the customer that the item is received and will be informed about an approval or rejection of your refund. If the return is approved, then the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied within 30 days. For global delivery the purchase price minus the shipping costs will be credited. For partial returns of order delivery within the Netherlands the shipping costs will not be refunded.

6. Customer service
Please inform Fem per e-mail (fem@dutchorigindesign.com) in case of any complaints or requests regarding any of the products or services offered by Dutch Origin Design. You will receive a reply within 5 working days.
7. Privacy
This privacy policy applies to all personal information of the website user collected and used by Dutch Origin Design. The personal information of the website user such as name, address, e-mail address and payment details are required to process the order. Dutch Origin Design only use this generated information for the purpose of processing the payment and delivery of the order and will treat this information with utmost care. The generated information of the website user such as visitor frequency is anonymous and only used for internal research of the website.
8. Liability
The Dutch Origin Design collection has been handcrafted by Fem with the greatest care. Dutch Origin Design shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, either physical, material or immaterial, resulting from the use or inability to use any of its items sold. Dutch Origin Design has made every effort to display the information of products and images on the website as accurately as possible. However Dutch Origin Design will not assume any liability for the consequences of the incorrectness, incompleteness in the information on the website. Dutch Origin Design is not liable for wrong price listings or other factual errors in case of an incorrect selling price, the price will be adjusted as soon as possible. Dutch Origin Design cannot be held responsible for difference in colours as a consequence of the quality of the computer displays. Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with Dutch Origin Design. Dutch Origin Design is not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and does not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third-parties.
9. Force majeure
Force majeure is considered to be, in addition to what in law and jurisprudence is considered to be, all external causes, foreseen or unforeseen, on which Dutch Origin Design cannot exercise influence, but through which Dutch Origin Design is not able to fulfil its obligations. If a shortcoming in compliance with the contractual obligation of Dutch Origin Design is the result of force majeure, Dutch Origin Design is allowed to terminate the order and purchase agreement and not be liable for the damages of the customer. The customer will be informed per e-mail accordingly.

This website and all its content is protected by intellectual property rights, including copyright and owned by Dutch Origin Design. It is prohibited to publice, reproduce or redistribute any images or artwork associated with the brand, any text or graphics from the website without first acquiring written permission of Dutch Origin Design.
